Completed by Gourlay Bros. & Co., Dundee, as S/S Arcturus for Finska Ångfartygs Aktiebolaget, Helsinki.

Sailed on Finland - Copenhagen - Hull line.

1914

While homeward bound from Copenhagen at the outbreak of war put into Stockholm, where laid up for the war time.

1918

Brought during the Civil war assisted by the icebreaker Sampo 940 light-infantrymen of the 27th Prussian Jaeger Battalion in heavy ice conditions from Libau to Vaasa, where arrived on Feb. 25.

Continued after the war in the service to Hull.

1940

Damaged on Jan. 13 in a Soviet air raid at Turku.

After completed repairs operated due to war traffic restrictions on Turku - Stockholm route carrying children to Sweden.

5.1949

Transferred to Helsinki - Antwerp service.

22.10.1956

Laid up in Helsinki.

27.4.1957

Sold to Nordisches Erzkontor G.m.b.H., Lübeck, for demolition, but resold to N. V. Holland and delivered on May 7 at Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, where broken up by Holland Scheepswerf en Machinehandel.
