Completed by Wigham Richardson & Co., Newcastle, as S/S Astraea for Finska Ångfartygs Aktiebolaget, Helsinki.

Put into Hanko - Hull service until 1899 and thereafter sailed mainly on Turku - Copenhagen - Hull line.

20.2.1930

Sold to H. A. Elfving, Hanko, and delivered on April 1 without change of name.

Converted to a mother ship for fishing vessels and used in Islandic waters.

Registered as fishing vessel Suomi-1.

18.6.1934

Transferred to Elfvingin Kalastuslaivue Oy - Elfving's Fiskeflotta Ab, Hanko.

15.7.1936

Sold to Thomas Young, Sunderland, for demolition and delivered in October.
