Completed by A/S Helsingørs Jernskibs- & Maskinbyggeri, Elsinore (Helsingør), as Bore for Ångfartygs Ab Bore, Turku.

Put into Turku - Mariehamn - Stockholm service.

31.12.1899

Went aground in dense fog at Alskärsgrundet between Söderarm and Furusund while on passage from Turku via Mariehamn to Stockholm. Sank next day in 27 metres of water.

17.2.1900

Declared a constructive total loss and deleted from register.

1901

Refloated in the spring, bought back on July 30 by Ångfartygs Ab Bore and towed to Copenhagen to be repaired by Burmeister & Wain.

12.1901

Redelivered after repairs to Ångfartygs Ab Bore, Turku, as Bore I, because meanwhile the sister ship Bore II was completed.

Continued on Turku - Mariehamn - Stockholm line.

8.1914

Acquisitioned by the Russian Navy for Helsinki - Tallinn - St. Petersburg service.

Redelivered to her owners.

20.10.1916

Sold under compulsion to Russian Govt. Converted to patrol vessel for the Russian Navy and renamed S/S Grif.

13.4.1918

Caught fire from a spirit cooker onboard while lying in the port of Hanko. Scuttled at the quay to extinguish the fire by German naval forces.

Salvage operations started on Sept. 10 by Finnish Govt. Paised wreck sold to Ab Crichton, Turku, and brought there on Nov. 5.

13.12.1919

Finska Ångfartygs Aktiebolaget made a contract with Ab Chrichton for reconditioning the wreck.

4.8.1921

Delivered by Ab Chrichton, Turku, as S/S Hebe for Finska Ångfartygs Aktiebolaget, Helsinki.

Continued on her old line to Stockholm.

4.12.1926

Sold to Ångfartygs Ab Bore, Turku, and name Bore I restored.

1927

Rebuilt by Ab Chrichton-Vulcan Oy, Turku, and delivered on Feb. 14 to Ångfartygs Ab Bore for Turku - Mariehamn - Stockholm line.

6.4.1950

Went aground in fog at Storgrundet off Herrö and sank with deck just above the sea level.

Refloated, repaired and rebuilt. Fitted with a new bridge and a cafe below it as well as a deck house on the foredeck.

1953

After delivery of S/S Bore III moved to Mariehamn - Stockholm summer service.

5.9.1961

Sold to Rudolf Harmstorf Wasserbau und Trawenwerft G.m.b.H. for demolition in Lübeck and left Turku on Oct. 3 in tow of the German m/s Stein for Lübeck.
