Completed after fitting out by Earle's Shipbuilding Co., Hull, as S/S Oberon for Finska Ångfartygs Aktiebolaget, Helsinki.

Sailed on Finland - Copenhagen - Hull line.

19.12.1930

Collided in fog SE of Trindelen Lightvessel near Laesø in Northern Kattegatt with S/S Arcturus of Finska Ångfartygs Aktiebolaget, while on passage from Finland via Copenhagen to Hull, and sank in three minutes with loss of 25 crew members and 17 passengers.
