Requisitioned by the British Admiralty. Converted to an armed accomodation vessel and renamed HMS Tithonus.

1918

When escorting as an aux. cruiser a convoy for Norway torpedoed by the German UB 72 and sank on March 28 about 50 miles east of Aberdeen. Four British men lost their lives.
