LOCATION
The S.W. quarter of the N.W. quarter of the S.W. quarter of Sect. 21 in Township 43 North of Range 20 West of 4th P.M. Containing according to U. S. survey 10 acres be the same more or less.

March 31, 1902: Organized at home of Erick Keskitalo.
April 1, 1902: Filed at Register of Deeds Office.
March 13,1925: Sold to Eagle for $1.00.
May 5, 1925: Filed in Register of Deeds.
March 16, 1938: Quick Claim Deed.
March 23, 1938: Filed - $1.00 to Finnish Cemetery Association.

FIRST BURIAL
Oscar Knuutila, age 15 years,  5 month, 10 days. Body moved from Knuutila farm to the cemetery on April 1, 1903 and reburied. First actual burial was of Lars Nikkola, 83 years old on Oct. 11, 1905.

None

CONDITION
Has had two buildings, one wrecked to make a new one, second one wrecked by tornado. At present no building. No fencing and condition otherwise poor.

HISTORY
Land originally owned by Erick Keskitalo. People saw need of a cemetery so chose this site because of location, high land, and in center of Finnish settlement. March 29, 1903 finances low so the members loaned to Association money to the extent of $60.00. The land had to be cleared of timber etc. The land was paid for in yearly payments to Winona St. Peter Land Co. and Erick Keskitalo.
