Logging in to the site is only accessible to the members of the Genealogical Society of Finland. They can log in to see pages that are available to members only. 

 

Login is based on the member number, found in the address field on the back of the latest Genos and Sukutieto magazines or address label of the envelope they were mailed. The member number precedes the name.

 

The username is as follows:

Add the letter M and as many zeroes as needed in front of the member number to make a five-digit number. 

 

The password is as follows:

Add the first two letters of your surname, the first capital and the second lower-case, in front of the five-digit number in the username (without the letter M). 

 

If a person called Smith has a member number 1234, the username is M01234 and the password is Sm01234.
